What we are
Verified Local Jobs is a regional job board. Every listing on the site is confirmed with the employer before it goes live, and re-verified every seven days against their own system. If a role is filled or pulled, it gets archived with a "Position Filled" label rather than disappearing — you can see that the listing was real and that the process worked.
Where we are
Northwest Ohio at launch — Tiffin, Findlay, Bowling Green, Fremont, Clyde, and Marion. We expand by region, not by city. The next region opens when the founding employers, verified listings, and newsletter audience for it are real enough to ship.
What we don't do
- Resume database. We do not collect or store applicant resumes. The apply button on every listing routes you to the employer's own system. We are a discovery layer, not an ATS.
- Account walls. No account required to browse, search, filter, or read a listing. Subscribe to the weekly digest if you want new jobs in your inbox; that is the only thing you give us an email for.
- Sponsored deception. Featured listings are clearly labeled. We do not sell sort-order. The default sort is verification recency, period.
How we make money
Featured listings, employer subscriptions, staffing-agency partnerships, and newsletter sponsorships. The browse experience is free for job seekers and stays that way. The business is built around employers paying to reach a curated regional audience.
